Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be met by the Safaris representative for safari briefing and transfer to your Nairobi Hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight will be at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Day 02: Samburu
After breakfast, you will be met by an Essenia Safaris representative and transferred to the Wilson airport for your flight to Shaba. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your camp arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon gamedrive.

Day 03: Samburu
Spend the full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game viewing drive included. During the hot day you can choose to visit the local communities living adjacent to this game reserve or relax by the swimming pool.
Samburu National Reserve is one of the lesser-known national parks, but is nevertheless teeming with life. Situated alongside the EwasoNyiroRiver, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains.The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five).

Day 04: Masai Mara
After breakfast, depart Samburu for your flight to Masai Mara. You will fly west over the dramatic great rift valley to the unspoiled wild savannahs of the Masai Mara.
Masai Mara is probably one of Kenya’s most visited reserve with an extraordinary density of animals including the Big five and many other varieties of plains game. The MaraRiver cuts through the Mara and Serengeti eco systems giving life to the both reserves finally pouring out into the Lake Victoria.
Impressive and most notable is the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle instinct led migration from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. This journey is coupled by numerous obstacles which makes it even more magnificent. Overnight will be at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 05 & 06: Masai Mara
Depending on the wildlife migration patterns and the weather, you could either opt for Morning and evening game drives or alternatively venture out for a full day. Due to camps proximity to the Mara River, you will only need to drive a short distance to the Mara River to witness the annual Wildebeest migration.
Other optional activities on this day would be an early morning balloon flight over the Masai Mara plains and a visit to the nearby Masai communities. Overnight will be at Masai Mara.

Day 07: Nairobi
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for Nairobi. Upon arrival at Nairobi, you will be picked and transferred to Carnivore or Tamambo restaurant for lunch. After lunch, transfer to your hotel in Nairobi for overnight. Overnight will be at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.
