SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 01: Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You will be received by the Safaris representative for safari briefing. You will then be transferred to your Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Mount Kenya
Our destination today is the cool, crisp Kenyan highlands and the historic Mount Kenya Safari Club, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens. Along the way, visit the craft centers in Nanyuki, including the Spinners & Weavers, a women’s self-help project. They produce beautiful African designs on cardigans, shawls, carpets, throws, pullovers, scarves and bedcovers – all of which are for sale at very reasonable prices.
The Mount Kenya Safari Club is an exclusive resort which offers an experience of refined elegance and luxury, as well as a sense of old Hollywood in its glamorous past. All of the amenities you would expect from a fine international establishment are here, including horseback riding, golf, croquet, a putting green, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage, tennis, trout streams and more. Fine dining, warm hospitality and superb accommodations of suites or cottages are hallmarks of our stay.

Day 03: Mount Kenya
Today we travel to the exotic Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve. Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns. Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face. Ol Pejeta boasts an astounding variety of animals including non-indigenous chimpanzees and the Big Five. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plans will guarantee you an unforgettable safari experience. Return to the Mount Kenya Safari club for lunch and overnight stay.

Day 04: Masai Mara
After breakfast, depart the Mount Kenya Safari Club for your flight to Masai Mara. You will fly west over the dramatic great rift valley to the unspoiled wild savannahs of the Masai Mara.
The Mara game reserve is famous for its extraordinary density of wild animals including the Big five and many other plains game and the Mara River cuts through the Mara and Serengeti eco systems.
Impressive and most notable is the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle instinct led migration from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. This journey is coupled by numerous obstacles which makes it even more magnificent. Overnight will be at the Mara Safari Club.

Day 05 & 06: Masai Mara
Spend 2 full days with morning and evening game drives or alternatively venture out for a full day. Due to Mara Safari clubs proximity to the Mara River, you will only need to drive a short distance to the Mara River to witness the annual Wildebeest migration.
Other optional activities on this day would be an early morning balloon flight over the Masai Mara plains and a visit to the nearby Masai communities. Overnight will be at the Mara Safari Club.

Day 07: Nairobi
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for Nairobi. Upon arrival at Nairobi, you will be picked and transferred to Carnivore or Tamambo restaurant for lunch. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your outbound flight.
