Kigali /Volcanoes National Park /Kigali
Day 1: Arrive Kigali Airport where you will be met by the Safari manager and driver/guide, drive north to Ruhengeri. Safari briefing on arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Virunga Lodge
Day 2: Early or Picnic breakfast, arrive at the Volcanoes National Park offices by 0700hrs, we start tracking for the Golden monkeys after briefing from the guides/trackers. After the adventure, proceed for lunch at Mountain Gorillas Nest.
Afternoon, we will visit to a nearby sacred forest where the ancient kings used to perform their rituals.
Dinner and overnight at Virunga Lodge
Day 3: Early breakfast and drive to park offices by 0700hrs, we will be allocated a gorilla group followed by a briefing by the trackers/guides.
Upon sighting the gorillas, we are allowed to stay with them for a full magical hour leaving them to enjoy their freedom. Lunch at Mountain Gorillas Nest
Afternoon we take a scenic drive to view the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera
Dinner and overnight at Virunga Lodge
Day 4: Second morning of gorilla tracking where you will have an opportunity to visit another gorilla family. Lunch at Mountain Gorillas Nest
Drive back to Kigali and later dinner at a local restaurant
Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel
Day 5: After breakfast we tour the city of Kigali including a visit to the Genocide Memorial Museum and Hand crafts centers and then transfer to the Airport for your departure flight
