Safari Overview

The 4-day safari explores Uganda’s iconic destinations, starting with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. Next, enjoy a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, known for its diverse wildlife. The adventure concludes with a life-changing gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This itinerary is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts, offering unforgettable encounters with Uganda’s primates, diverse animals, and stunning landscapes.

Itinerary - Daily Safari Information

Day 01: Arrival Entebbe Airport

Our tour representative will meet you at the Airport and transfer to Lake Victoria Serena Hotel or similar for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan Dinner.

After breakfast transfer to Entebbe International Airports to catch up with a scheduled flight to Bwindi. You will enjoy the Ariel view of the beautiful changing Landscape.  On arrival at either Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip, you will be transferred with our vehicle to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs or similar. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner

Early breakfast and start trekking at 8:00am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots. Lunch boxes will be provided at the lodge as well. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. 

The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way.  The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. 

Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs or similar. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Kihihi Airstrip for a scheduled flight to Entebbe (flight times depend on onward plans for the afternoon and /or availability). Drop off at Entebbe Airport or your Hotel.
